1, 2, 3, 4, 5....

I am 5 months old. Internet, can you even believe it ?!?

It seems like just yesterday, I was a curled up, squishy little pudge ball, who couldn't do much of anything exciting. But NOW, now that I am 5 months old - let me tell you, things have changed in a major way.

Here is a list of some of things I can do as of month 5 - in no particular order....

ROLL OVER
Not an easy task at first, and still not my favorite thing to do, as I despise being on my tummy

EAT MY FEET
See post below - has also put a slight hindrance on the whole rolling over thing

"PLAY" IN THE BATH
Splashing and trying to eat the rubber ducky count as playing

EAT FOOD
Milk is SO 3 month old... rice cereal, please. I'm also pretty interested in what Mom & Dad are eating... how come they never share?

LAUGH
This is a tough one... I'm just not a laugher at this point... but when I am tired enough, Mom & Dad can get some pretty good giggles out of me

COMPLETELY SOAK THRU MY SHIRT [OR THE SHIRT OF SOMEONE HOLDING ME] IN ABOUT 2 MINUTES
Getting teeth is awesome. I have so much drool I don't know what to do with myself

HOLD MY BOTTLE
Not consistently, but what do you expect, I'm only 5 months old....

FLIRT
I definitely make eyes at people, including really good eyebrow gestures... I also shy away or bury my face in Mom or Dad's shoulder when people talk to me

RECOGNIZE & PAY ATTENTION TO BRODY & MILES
It took me awhile to realize they were there, but now that I do, I smile when they walk by,
"pet" them and let them give me kisses

CUDDLE
Mom thought I was out of my cuddle phase at about 12 weeks, but I've brought it back in a big way... I put my head on her & Daddy's shoulder and wrap my arms around them. I also like to press my cheek to their cheeks. Love.

PULL HAIR & PINCH
Hey, it can't all be good stuff

WATCH THE PACKERS WITH DADDY
This isn't because I'm getting bigger, its because football season just started

CURRENT FAVORITES:
Toy: Momma's hands, and Domo & Fenway [my monsters], Also starting to take a liking to toys that make sound

Food: Cereal, by default

Activities: Early morning gab session with Mom & Dad which happens from about 6:30-6:45am, bath time, being nekkid

I'm a very curious boy and like to study everything intensely. I also seem to be getting pretty close to sitting up on my own.

Check back soon to read all about my first Brewers experience!
