smiley. Oh, Internet... it seems like just yesterday, I didn't even know what a blog was. And now, here I am 8 MONTHS later, and too busy to even keep up with posting to mine. 8 months old. 2/3 of a year. I've already celebrated Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years! However way you look at it, it means I am getting OLD, and BIG, and learning new things every day!
For those of you I don't get to see often - here is a rundown of my current accomplishments...
I DRINK FROM A CUP
Mommy started me on the sippy about a week ago. At first, it was confusing, but after the 2nd try, I totally had it down. I now drink my milk and juice from the sippy during mealtime.

I "CRAWL"... NO I DON'T (BUT I DO SCOOT)
My parents thought I was getting be mobile back at my 6 month post, but, lucky for them, they were wrong. I'm still stagnant... and proud of it. I have recently started scooting on my butt... this really only works on the wood floors.

I EAT BIG PEOPLE FOOD
I've had pasta, rice, ham, pizza, apple pie... I don't seem to dislike any food at this point. And I'm always begging Mom & Dad for something from their plate... kind of like the dogs.
I SING
I'm awesome at singing, so look out Justin Timberlake (clearly, my mother is writing this - she SHOULD have referenced someone more "now", such as Justin Bieber or one of those JOnas kids). I'm especially good at singing during church.

I JUMP
I'm FINALLY getting to use my gift from uncle schu & aunt luci! Its a doorway jumper. It took me kind of a long time to get the hang of it, but now, I am a jumping fool. If I could find someone to play banjo, I'd be set.

I DANCE
Very similar to scooting, but definitely better when set to music. Again, JT - I'm comin' for ya.

I GIVE KISSES
Only on my own accord, and when I do they are open mouth, wet and sloppy... but my Mom & Dad don't seem to mind.

I TALK... ALOT
Mainly, I just say "Da-da"... even when mommy looks right at me and says "Say Mama", my response... is "Da-da".
CURRENT FAVORITES:
Toy: I haven't even gotten thru all my Christmas presents yet, so.. I have a new one every day at this point
Food: applesauce
Activities: Hanging upside down, playing in the tub
milk drinkers... UNITE!
my first new years eve... I made it all the way to about 9:55...
