my first thanksgiving

Thursday was my First Thanksgiving - what a fantastic holiday. We headed to Grandma H's house in Beloit on Wednesday night. It's still kind of a long drive for me, so I just napped to energize myself for the night. Mom and Dad said that's the night everybody goes out, and we did. We went to the Wallace's and I got to hang out with my friend Owen - he has lots of fun toys that he let me play with, so that was awesome! We stayed out late and I pretty much stayed up the the whole time until right before leaving but when we got back to Grandma H's, I kept Mom and Dad up even later (than I think they wanted).

The next day was Thanksgiving Thursday and I was ready to go because, as Dad explained, it was a great day because football was on, and not only that, the Packers played too. Boy did they take care of business once they got rolling. Plus, Marquette played and won too. After the games, we went to Great Aunt Kelly's house - I got to see so many people and I loved it. Great Grandpa held me and I fell asleep, Great Aunt Carol held me and I fell asleep again. I mean, from what I've heard, Thanksgiving is not only a time to be thankful, but to eat, sleep, and watch football - and in whatever order you'd like.

While I took one of my naps, everybody ate, and when I woke up they said the food was really really good, so I said "well give me some please". I got to eat some mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and a little bit of pie. I've been eating more and more foods lately, but all those in one night made me a pretty happy camper.

Thanksgiving was a really fun holiday and I'm so thankful for everything I have and all the people who love me.

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!
